Through our special exhibits and educational programs, A6 endeavors to share the artistic, cultural and historical significance of printmaking and book arts to our community. A6 offers several programs tailored to students and adults.
Once a year, A6 invites Central Oregon elementary, middle and high schools to view a special educational exhibit with historical, social and artistic significance. Students enhance their understanding of the exhibit through hands-on printmaking and book arts projects in the A6 studio.
Elementary, middle and high-school classes can build on classroom learning with tailored printmaking and book arts projects using A6’s print facility. Projects can be connected to specific curriculum and tied to Oregon State Education Standards.
Tumbleweed Press offers a unique arts-based learning opportunity, and introduces students to the lesser known art forms of printmaking and book arts.
