Entries Due: June 1, 2017
Exhibit Dates: August 4-October 1, 2017

On the morning of August 21, 2017, thousands will gather in Central Oregon to watch a rare event. The first total solar eclipse to touch the continental U.S. since 1979 will cross the high desert at 10:21 am. The town of Madras, at the epicenter of the eclipse, will be plunged into darkness for a few brief minutes.

Inspired by this event, A6 invites Central Oregon printmakers and book artists to submit work for “Lunar”, a juried exhibition of monotypes, collagraphs and artist books. This exhibit will have a tightly-controlled presentation; consequently, there are very specific guidelines for creating and framing prints. Artists are strongly encouraged to read the full prospectus prior to submitting work.
