The Bird Goddesses

Wed, May 15, 7 pm

Symbolic artifacts from the earliest Neolithic village sites of Europe, c. 7000 to 3500 B.C., offer a tantalizing view of an ancient European Goddess- oriented civilization that lived in peace, in harmony with nature and with a high degree of economic, social and sexual equality. Its goddess- centered art exhibits a striking absence of images of warfare and male domination.
