Woodcuts of Native Reptiles by Abney Wallace

May 5- July 2, 2017

These spare, yet detailed black and white studies feature snakes and lizards native to the high desert. A6 artist Abney Wallace captures the organic, rhythmic, living forms of these “cold-blooded neighbors” by patiently carving and hand-printing these images from wood blocks.

This exhibit serves as the basis for our spring “Students to A6” school program.
