In memory of Pam Jersey Bird, a vibrant “out-of-the-box” artist, this fund will support a new lecture series to foster creative thinking in Central Oregon.
Pam Jersey Bird (1947-2017)
Pam Jersey Bird had a diverse career in the arts. She was a museum art educator and an art instructor for community colleges, art centers, and public and private high schools. Very early in her career, she worked in advertising and graphic design. Growing up in New Jersey allowed her to spend a great deal of time in New York City where she enjoyed museums and contemporary art galleries. As an award-winning artist, Pam exhibited widely in California, Washington, and Oregon and was juried into numerous exhibitions. She was a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters and a member of ALT Group Art.
