International Biennial Artist Book Exhibit

Artist books use the traditional book form as a departure point. These one-of-a-kind creations incorporate handwriting, calligraphy, or letterpress and typically include art elements such as painting, photography, collage, drawing or print. Often rendered in sculptural forms, artist books encourage a different style of interaction from the viewer.

Hot Off the Press: New Prints by Crow’s Shadow

These contemporary prints were produced at Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts
(2016-18)—each work a collaboration between the Institute’s master printers and resident artists. Featuring several artists of color, including James Lavadour, Marie Watt, Marwin Begay, Demian DineYazhi, Avantika Bawa and Ka’ila Farrell Smith.

People’s Choice Award

New Visions in Contemporary Photography

View work by contemporary fine art photographers who are pushing the medium in new directions—using everything from 19th century photographic techniques to the latest digital technologies. Artists Teresa Meier, Amy Castano, Nancy Floyd and Laura Kurtenbach offer unusual and provocative perspectives and represent a range of photographic processes. Sense of Space

Through a mix of two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, artists from around the country are invited to explore their personal environment—both exterior (meaningful locations and unique landscapes) and interior (ethnic space and emotional space). Artists work to find the place where “space” and “body” come together.
